CURRENT 

I am the Senior Officer: Regulations within Registry: Quality & Standards. In this role, I:

  • Lead the review, development, and maintenance of student-related regulations, ensuring compliance, accessibility, and relevance.
  • Design and deliver staff development, training resources, and publish key regulatory information (including the University’s academic calendar).
  • Act as the primary contact for complex regulatory queries, offering expert interpretation and advice.
  • Support institutional compliance and risk management by aligning policy with practice.
  • Contribute to quality-related audits and reviews, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and preparedness.

I am a Fellow of Enterprise Educators UK and associate fellow of the HEA (AFHEA).

I contribute to research on Enterprise Education both within Bangor University and further afield in the Impact Research Group.

In my previous role (Enterprise Education Development Coordinator) I co-hosted the bilingual Bangor University Employability Podcast “Be’ Nesa’” which launched in July 2023. Available on most major platforms. Podcast link

I'm always looking to to expand my network, knowledge, experiences and to learn. Additionally, I am keen to collaborate and work with others to showcase best practice, new opportunities and success stories.

Study title: Surfacing the Perspective of Autistic Girls Aged Between Thirteen and Eighteen Within a Complex Social Discourse on Autism: A Qualitative Inquiry

Phase 1: Autistic teenage girls and their social worlds: A scoping review

Phase 2: A Foucauldian Discourse Analysis of the portrayal of autistic teenage girls in national UK newspapers. 

Phase 3: Developing the profile for autistic teenage girls: co-produced with stakeholders. 

MRes Thesis (2018)

Title: Gender and ASD: Exploring Professional's Perspectives. 

A mixed method study including questionnaires, interviews and a case study based activity. Based in two locations in North West England and North Wales. 

BA Dissertation (2017)

Title: Special Educational Needs: Single definition or interpretation?

A mixed method study using questionnaires and interviews.
