I offer PhD supervision in social policy and sociology, assisting students in developing rigorous, policy-relevant research grounded in critical and applied perspectives. My supervision covers a range of topics, including welfare reform, austerity, poverty, inequality, food insecurity, housing, and the impact of social policy on lived experiences in Wales, the broader UK, and beyond. I also supervise projects on homelessness, labour market inequalities, and emerging policy innovations such as Universal Basic Income, using comparative and interdisciplinary methods. Across all projects, I emphasise robust methodological design, critical engagement with theory, and producing research with meaningful social and policy impacts.<br/><br/>
