Crynodeb
Four entries for the Encyclopedia Sociology of Law highlighting the sociological approach to the study of legal phenomena. The civil service is rather strictly regulated and the entry describes the social structures and their context. "Legitimation by Procedure" is key for modern institutions and organisations, be they public or private. Crime reporting follows identifiable patterns that were researched by social scientists. The author has edited Section 23 of the Encyclopedia "Law in Popular Culture, incl. Law and Media" and has written the introduction putting the contributions into perspective.
