In this paper we study the temporal properties of vehicular visible light communication (VVLC) channel that take the dynamic nature of traffic conditions into consideration. We study two-dimensional temporal channel model considering the time and signal propagation delay. We also investigate the time stationary property and the time dispersion parameters of the channel based on a real-time traffic conditions at different time periods of the day. The results show that at high-density traffic, larger number of multipath components are received with higher amplitude and lower propagation delay than the multipath components received at low-density traffic. The results also show that the VVLC channel is time-variant nonstationary with flat and slow fading, at high-density traffic. However, the VVLC channel can be considered stationary for specific time duration with flat slow fading and the reflectors are uncorrelated at low-density traffic
