Description
Gave a presentation entitled “A Curriculum Design for Task-based Mandarin Chinese Teaching in online Chinese classes”. Shared my research point of views with participating scholars and answered their questions. Received some inspiring feedback from the conference which was very helpful to my current research on language planning and policy., e.g. Prof. Zhao Shiju’s works on the study of Chinese language planning and policy; Prof. Joel Bellassen’s presentation on Chinese language learning in France and other countries of Europe, in which he pointed that the greatest challenge that the growing demand for Chinese learning poses is the recruiting of qualified Chinese teachers.
