Anfarwol spotlighted at Frankfurt Book Fair by Wales Literature Exchange

Wales Literature Exchange/Cyfnewidfa Llen Cymru attend the Frankfurt Buchmese/Book Fair and they have a booth that highlights Welsh publishing, with a particular focus on attracting potential distributors for Welsh books or for publishers interested in commissioning translations of books in Welsh. This fair attracted 238,000 visitors in 2025.

Anfarwol, Peredur Glyn's prize-winning 2025 novel, was selected for the 'Autumn Bookcase' by Wales Literature Exchange to be showcased in Frankfurt as a spotlighted example of Welsh-language fiction from this year.

For this purpose the author translated the first two chapters of the novel into English, to give an idea to potentially interested parties of what the book is like. This translation was made available at the fair and is also available via the Literature Exchange Wales website.
