Description
R2Ri are a leading provider of remote area prehospital care, medical, risk and travel risk training and services. Sam has completed research examining risk factors for hypothermia and the effectiveness of simple field-based prehospital methods to prevent and treat cold casualties (Oliver et al., 2015, 2016). The BUIIA funds will support the development of a new knowledge exchange partnership that has an overall aim of improving prehospital, wilderness and prolonged field care.Funding awarded through the Bangor University Innovation and Impact Award (Research Wales Innovation Funding).
