Description

We were delighted to visit Prestatyn High School for their Festival of Cultures, where we delivered two days of engaging Chinese cultural workshops for students.

The sessions offered a wonderful opportunity for students to explore traditional Chinese arts in a hands-on and creative way as part of the school’s wider celebration of global cultures. Students took part in calligraphy workshops, learning how to write Chinese characters while also discovering the meaning and symbolism behind this ancient art form. Alongside this, they enjoyed crafting Chinese knots using clay, inspired by traditional decorative designs that represent good fortune, unity, and happiness.

It was inspiring to see such enthusiasm and creativity from all the students involved. The workshops not only introduced new artistic skills but also contributed to a deeper appreciation of Chinese culture within the vibrant and inclusive spirit of the Festival of Cultures.

We would like to thank Prestatyn High School for their warm welcome and excellent organisation, and we look forward to working together again in the future.
