In a remarkable achievement, one of our outstanding students, Lily Braden, has achieved the prestigious First Place Award in the highly competitive Mandarin Bridge Competition for the individual beginner category for UK Secondary School Students.

The Mandarin Bridge Competition, renowned for its rigorous standards and fierce competition, attracts language enthusiasts and learners from across the globe. Lily Braden's exemplary performance showcases her linguistic competence and reflects the exceptional quality of education provided by the Confucius Institute at Bangor University.

The award ceremony took place on 21st September at International Students House, London. This momentous occasion celebrated the linguistic accomplishments of young people in Wales and reflects the Institute’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a passion for language learning.
