Talks, discussions and practice with artists to learnt about traditions of Avantgarde in Wales and how they (can) resonate in (their) contemporary practice.
Two workshops with local artists about contemporary Avant Garde practices in April 2023, texted how artists can relate their practices and concepts to transcultural traditions and apply it to contemporary Wales. The workshop resulted in the performance Berw Pren Berw // Birch - Birch Wood, on 4.5.2023 at Art Kiosk Pontio, and will taken further at the January 2024 Cysylltu project. This development strenghend RQs for the AHRC application.
