Môr Ni Gwynedd event: In 2024, we launched the first-ever Pentre Bwyd Môr at @gwylfwydcaernarfon, an initiative that brought together academic research, culinary arts, and community engagement to celebrate our coastal heritage. This event was a collaborative effort involving chefs, artists, local organizations, and the Schools of Bangor University, designed to bridge the gap between academic work and public participation.Our team facilitated a wide range of activities that highlighted the intersection of food, art, and science. Children and adults alike had the opportunity to engage with hands-on scientific demonstrations, participate in creative art projects, and explore the rich marine biodiversity of our region. The event served as a platform to showcase the innovative work being done within the Môr Ni Gwynedd project and emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary approaches in addressing coastal and environmental issues.
As we continue to develop the Môr Ni Gwynedd project, we aim to build on the success of Pentre Bwyd Môr by deepening our collaboration with both the academic community and the public.
