Following this appearance, he was invited to a live interview on BBC Good Morning Wales programme to comment on figures obtained by the BBC on bank closure in the UK. Five of the top ten areas losing banks are in Wales. During his interview, Dr Edward Jones was asked to explain the trend in branch closure and the impact this was having on businesses and the economy.
