The Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) Annual International Conference 2026 explored the theme "Geographies of Inequalities". I presented “From Surplus to Social Infrastructure: Participatory Redistribution in Unequal Food Systems (Nigeria-UK)”, drawing on my doctoral fieldwork and knowledge-exchange activities to explore how surplus food redistribution operates not only as a response to food insecurity and waste, but also as a form of social infrastructure shaped by participation, relationships and inequalities
