Science and Fisheries Management Plans: progress made and exploring the future

Activity: OtherTypes of Business and Community - Membership of public/government advisory/policy group or panel

Description

Purpose
Following the Fisheries Management Plans (FMP) Evidence workshop last year (February / March 2024) where we introduced FMP Evidence Gaps and the ambitions for a more transparent and collaborative approach to FMP evidence gathering and collation, an event was held this year to increase transparency on Defra led science projects.
Hosted by Defra, this interactive hybrid event shared updates and insights from different Research & Development (R&D) projects which are currently working to address evidence gaps within the Defra led FMPs.
