Description

Workshops on Human-computer Interaction-enabled stroke rehabilitation, funded by the Wales Research Environment and Culture (WREC) cross-disciplinary seed-corn fund. The workshops brought together clinicians, from Ysbyty Eriri and Deeside Community Hospital, working on stroke rehabilitations, along with Neuroscientist, Sports Scientists, Engineers and Computer Scientists, to discuss how HCI flavours, such as XR and Human-Centred AI (HCAI), can provide opportunities for more effective, patient-centric services. The last day had a presentation from Dr Gavin Buckingham from the University of Exeter.
