    Description of the underpinning research

    Comprehensive study of the creative process behind the composition of Manuel de Falla's "Noches en los jardines de España" (1909-15), comprising sketch studies, documentary evidence of the compositional process, and aesthetic considerations. The work was conducted at the Archivo Manuel de Falla in Granada in 2005, and was published as the introduction to a full-colour facsimile of the composer's manuscripts for the work.
