Creation of 3D hologram of Pen-y-dinas hill fort on the Great Orme, Llandudno, displayed in Llandudno museum of the Great Orme, North Wales.

Description of the underpinning research

Creation of model, expertise of 3d modelling and data simplification. Collaboration of Dr Sian James, Prof Ray Karl, Dr Jonathan C. Roberts (Bangor University) with SkyhawkAP, now SeahawkAP (for aerial data capture) and View Holographic (printed the hologram), part funded by the Creative Exchange Wales Network.

Creation of a 3d hologram of the Pen-y-dinas hill fort. First colour hologram of an archaeological site. First use of drone/UAV to capture images for 3d created hologram of archaeological site using 3d photogrammetry.
