Personal profile

Overview

I am researching the fate of wastewater-derived human pathogenic fungi from catchment to coast, funded by a NERC Red-ALERT CDT studentship. My work focuses on understanding how environmental and human factors influence the abundance, survival, and resistance of these fungi. Using hydrodynamic modelling, environmental sampling, and wastewater-based epidemiology, I aim to better understand fungal persistence and its potential risks to public health.
