PhD candidate under the NERC-funded Envision DTP jointly under  Bangor University and British Geological Survey. My research focusses on studying the different drivers of compound flooding in estuaries and to understand how groundwater and soil moisture can influence future risk of estuarine flooding in the United Kingdom. I'm running a coupled surface water and ground water model (Caesar-Lisflood-Groundwater) for flood prone estuaries and trying to evaluate how different parameters such a groundwater, rainfall, tides, sea level rise have an influence of the catchments, when acting simulateously.
