Overview

Geraldyne studied for her BSc in Physics in Colombia, and she graduated in 2019 with an undergraduate thesis in reactor physics. In 2020 she was awarded the Marie Sklodowska Curie Fellowship Program by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to study her master’s in Medical Physics at Valencia University in Spain. She finished her master’s studies in 2021, and in 2022, she worked as an intern at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, Austria. There, she was enrolled in the Department of Nuclear Applications in Human Health (NAHU), division of Dosimetry and Medical Radiation Physics. She was based at the Dosimetry Laboratory, where she gained knowledge in dosimetry audits and Quality Assurance.
