Research
My research interests concentrate around social semantics, or the social content of words. I use psycholinguistic, behavioural, and neuroimaging methodologies to further understanding of what social concepts are and where in the brain they are processed. My current projects look at the assocation of reward-value with various word referents, to explain an interplay between social and rewarding content. In addition, I am exploring the relationship between the social content of words and their auditory features.
