Overview

Jacob is a Research Project Support Officer at the Centre for Health Economics and Medicines Evaluation (CHEME), Bangor University. Jacob holds a First Class Honours degree in Economics from Cardiff University. He is currently working towards a PhD in Health Economics, assessing the impact of rationing by waiting in the NHS on economic performance in the South Wales health economy.

Jacob is involved with several projects at CHEME spanning evidence reviewing, within-trial economic evaluations and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs).


Jacob also sits on the Health and Care Economics Cymru (HCEC) Management Board as Project Manager and is the Welsh representative on the Health Economists’ Study Group (HESG) Early Career Researcher committee.
