Kevin is a Lecturer on the MSc Counselling course and BSc Psychology with Counselling programme at Bangor University. He is a registered counsellor with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). Alongside his academic role, he works as am NHS Counsellor for the Primary Care Mental Health Service in North Wales, supporting clients with a range of mental health challenges.

As PPD Tutor, Kevin is passionate about personal and professional development, guiding students in their reflective practice and growth as future therapists. He also leads the Counselling Residential, a culminating experience within the MSc programme that fosters deep connection, self-awareness, and experiential learning.

With a background spanning education, psychology, and mental health, Kevin integrates diverse approaches in his practice, including Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness (including MBCT). He has a keen interest in mental health literacy, mindsets, sleep hygiene, positive psychology, pedagogy, and student engagement, helping clients and students alike develop practical tools for well-being and growth.
