Teaching and Supervision

Laura serves as the Course Director for the MSc program in Clinical & Health Psychology and the MO and lecturer on PPP-4007 (Professional Skills in Psychology) and PPP-4013 (Theoretical Models in Clinical Psychology). She is additionally the MO for PPP-3002 (Anxiety, Stress, & Health). 

She is accepting masters students for research project supervision. 

Research

Laura's research interests encompass two primary areas: (1) the intersection of social neuroscience and social robotics, and (2) the neuropsychological and psychosocial outcomes associated with pediatric brain injury. These areas converge through a broader focus on neuroplasticity and the exploration of cognitive domain representation within the brain.

Laura is the Director of the Clinical and Healh Psychology MSc program and Module Organiser for PPP-4007 Professional Skills in Psychology and PPP-4013 Theoretical Models in Clinical Psychology. She is an HCPC registered psychologist in private practice and a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and British Neuropsychological Society (BNS). Before joining academia, Laura worked as a psychologist in the US and UK.
