Personal profile
Research
I am a PhD researcher at Bangor, exploring how psychophysiological and personality factors influence mentally tough behaviours. My primary interests lie in performance under pressure and the exploration of mentally tough behaviours, such as superior attentional control. My research involves collecting and analysing psychometric data to assess individual differences in personality and physiological responses to stress, including heart rate variability, muscle activity, and eye-tracking, as well as biomechanical responses, such as movement kinesthetics. These measures are integrated with physical tasks (e.g., golf putting) and cognitive tasks (e.g., attentional control) to assess mental toughness and performance under pressure.
