    Abstract

    Discusses the likely impact of the regulation on advertising of the European Parliament and European Council Directive 2005/29 in relation to Unfair Commercial Practices in relation to Business to Consumer Transactions. Discussing the Directive’s provisions in relation to regulation, maximum harmonisation, and the types of practice covered, what are automatically unfair practices, misleading practices, aggressive practices and issues of self-regulation and enforcement.
