Abstract
Chapter 7 by Davies, Underwood and Waters-Davies offers an original departure from the term ‘learning loss’ to explore the existence of alternative ways of learning that took place during the pandemic across primary, secondary, 3–18 and special schools in Wales. Through a mixed-methods study, the chapter provides an interesting discussion on the gain of resilience during the pandemic across three main themes: relationships, contexts of learning and skills development.
