    Abstract

    An essay is presented on modern drama. It focuses in the theatrical interpretations, reflections in the fascination for Shakespeare drama, and significance and growing series of writing in critical publications. Also discussed the eighteenth-century cultural fascination in producing national poet, restoration of traditions of dramatic literature in modern age, and early modern dramatists.
