Abstract
This special issue of English is the result of an Arts and Humanities Research Council network, Poetry in Expanded Translation, which ran in 2017–2018. The project aimed to make visible and audible the cultural spaces traversed by translation and the ways in which they are significant for all poetry, whether or not it is in translation.
