Abstract
Longitudinal reports spanning a decade and more suggest a significant lack of practitioner awareness of the Welsh language and a lack of legal commitment within healthcare organizations to plan for Welsh language provision.
Such deficits have been shown to adversely affect the quality of care and treatment of Welsh speakers, particularly among vulnerable client groups.
