Abstract

A scoping review mapping the research on the association between deindustrialisation and health, including methodologies used, outcomes and results reported, output countries, and definitions and measures of deindustrialisation. The second chapter is a quantitative analysis of the association between gambling to a harmful level and the extent of historical mining in local authority areas in Wales. A discussion regarding contribution to theory and research, along with a personal reflection follows.
