I graduated in Marine & Freshwater Biology from the University of Glasgow in 2014, before graduating in an MSc in Applied Marine & Fisheries Ecology at the University of Aberdeen. I began my PhD at Bangor University in 2016, and I expect to have this completed by October 2019. My PhD focussed on developing and applying techniques to estimate scallop stock sizes around Wales. I have already started a post-doctoral research position continuing this work as part of the Fisher-Scientist Partnership for Sustainable Welsh Fisheries project at Bangor University.

I am a general fisheries scientist, but my particular areas of interest are stock assessment and fisheries data modelling.
