Miriam Mbah is a part-time Lecturer in the field of European Union Law, Company Law and Public Procurement Law. Her excellent teaching skills in these fields and her outstanding pastoral support to students led to her nomination of ‘Post Graduate Teacher of the Year 2016/17’ at the annual Student Led Teaching Awards in Bangor University.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Miriam is a full-time PhD candidate at Bangor University, currently writing her thesis in the field of Human Trafficking and Public Procurement Law. Miriam has presented her thesis in various conferences and hopes to publish multiple papers before her viva.
Miriam completed her LLB Degree at Bangor University where she attained a First Class degree and went on to complete her LLM in Public Procurement Law and Strategy at the same institution. Recently, Miriam was awarded a ‘Distinction’ in Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, Manchester and she aspires to complete her Training Contracts after her Viva in 2020.
