I graduated with a BSc in Ecology from the University of East Anglia in 2005. Whilst working in industry, I completed a PgCert (2013) and an MSc in Animal Behaviour (2014) at Manchester Metropolitan University. Currently undertaking PhD research in the School of Ocean Sciences, in collaboration with the Virginia Institute of Marine Sciences (VIMS). My PhD focuses on the causes and consequences of individual behaviour (personality and behavioural plasticity) in intertidal organisms.

Teaching and Supervision

I support a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the School of Ocean Sciences, including; marine biology practicals, fish biology and ecology and supervision of BSc dissertation and MSc project students.
