N1 - This work summarises some findings of a PhD study into community nurses and management of leg ulceration. It highlights the existence of multiple frameworks for care that do not or have not improved outcomes. Additionally, national guidance on this subject utilises retracted guidance to support care and that although education is a central tenet for nurses managing leg ulceration. A variety os statements on education are made by frameworks with no agreed content nor preferred mode of delivery.
