N2 - Phenolic compounds were determined in defatted kernel, green husk and leaves of walnut.Methanol (80 %) was used to phenolic extraction, and then the extracts were fractionated with chloroform, ethyl acetate and n-butanol. Higher Performance Liquid Chromatography/Diode Array Detector (HPLC/DAD) and Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (1H NMR) were used to identify the fraction contents. Nine phenolic compounds with 1-4, naphthoquinone and juglone detected in walnut parts. The phenolic contents were varied in defatted kernel, green husk and leaves of walnut, because of the walnut parts and organic solvent impacted on phenolic content. In ethyl acetate fraction more phenolic compounds were extracted compare to chloroform and n-butanol fractions, however n-butanol fractions had the least phenolics content.
