- Alec Moore - Contributor
- Jan Geert Hiddink - Contributor
Description
As part of Wales’ Green Recovery, this project will address the issues of marine plastic litter and ghost fishing by developing sustainable plastic-free lobster fisheries, using natural, traditional, biodegradable materials. It builds new collaborations with technology developers and builds on existing links with the local fishing industry. This project will drive change and provide evidence by understanding barriers to change, exchanging knowledge, identifying opportunities for improvement, and testing efficiency and economic feasibility.
