Description
Our Lady’s School was bursting with colour, creativity, and curiosity as students celebrated Chinese New Year with two days of hands-on workshops. As a designated Confucius Classroom, the school embraced the spirit of the Year of the Snake, giving pupils a chance to explore Chinese culture through art, language, and interactive experiences—all delivered by Bangor University’s Confucius Institute.
From clay knot making and paper folding to Chinese blow painting and a Mandarin taster session, the activities captivated students, sparking enthusiasm and curiosity. Every brushstroke, fold, and sculpted knot told a story, immersing pupils in centuries-old traditions while introducing them to the beauty of the Mandarin language.
