Description
On 14th February, students at Ganolfan Addysg y Bont, Llangefni, immersed themselves in a vibrant day of Chinese cultural activities, engaging in hands-on workshops and mesmerising performances.
The sessions, delivered by the Confucius Institute at Bangor University, brought an exciting mix of music, movement, and traditional crafts. The highlight of the event was an enchanting erhu performance by talented musician Yushan Gao, transporting the students to another world with the instrument’s soulful melodies. They also had the opportunity to experience Tai Chi, enjoying the calming yet energising flow of this ancient martial art.
Creativity flourished in the paper-cutting and bracelet-making workshops, where students carefully crafted intricate designs and colourful accessories. Each creation became a cherished keepsake, reflecting their enthusiasm and growing appreciation for Chinese traditions.
