Learned Society of Wales Workshop: Making Active Travel Accessible for Children in Wales
- Emily Holmes - Member of programme committee
Description
Emily Holmes was one of 6 collaborators to secure £960 from the Learned Society of Wales to run a workshop on Making Active Travel Accessible for Children in Wales. The objective of the workshop was to bring together academics, council representatives, third sector organisations and public health representatives in order to co-produce a grant project proposal that aims to increase child active travel behaviour in Wales. Emily provided expertise on preference elicitation research / behavioural economics that sparked discussion and has been built into current work (INHABIT, Welsh Crucible Seedcorn Funded Project) and future proposals.
