Description
This was part of an annual event, involving hundreds of farms across the country. Open Farm Sunday is managed by LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming), the leading organisation at the forefront of delivering more sustainable food and farming. The event is designed to enable the public to see practical demonstrations of various aspects of farming. The Henfaes event hosted nearly 200 people and the BioComposites Centre showcased its research into biobased packaging made from agricultural residues, including prototype products made from wheat straw, as part of an Innovate UK-China project.
