Description
A bilingual blog in the field of onomastics - the study of names and naming practices. I publish professionally, in peer-reviewed publications, in the field of onomastics; I then use my publications to help students to understand the research process, as well as to familiarise them with the field of onomastics. The aim of this blog is to bring onomastics, including the theoretical literature and the research process more generally, to a wider audience, by posting short articles based on examples from everyday life. It is my hope that the blog will be of interest to a diverse range of 'onomasticians', including academics, potential students, local interest groups, and individuals who find names interesting.
