Overview

Bethan comes from a background of practicing as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist (Immunology and Cellular Pathology) within an NHS Pathology Department. She joined the School of Medical Science in October 2017 as a Lecturer in Medical Sciences, specialising in Cellular Pathology. 

She is an HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Science.

Teaching and Supervision

Bethan teaches across all taught undergraduate programmes in the School of Medical Sciences, from the foundation year to postgraduate levels. These programmes include Biomedical Science, Medical Biology and Medical Science, degrees. Additionally, Bethan contributes to the supervision of students on industrial placement.
