Mr Jacob Davies
Research Project Support Officer (Health Economics)
Overview
Jacob is a Research Project Support Officer at the Centre for Health Economics and Medicines Evaluation (CHEME), Bangor University. Jacob holds a First Class Honours degree in Economics from Cardiff University. He is currently working towards a PhD in Health Economics with a focus on elective surgery waiting lists in Wales and Australia.
Jacob is involved with several projects at CHEME including working with the Health and Care Research Wales Evidence Centre; Invest4Health, a pan-European Horizon Europe project; and the development of health economic infrastructure for assisting ophthalmology and vision science research in collaboration with colleagues at St. Paul's Research Foundation and St. Paul's Eye Unit, Liverpool.
Jacob also sits on the Health and Care Economics Cymru (HCEC) Management Board as a Project Manager and Impact Lead.
