Overview
I am senior lecturer in SENRGy, Bangor University. I am statistician and modeller with a particular focus on modelling farm management, the analysis of environmental data and modelling the interaction between policy, land use and the environment. I have developed innovative statistical methods to model and visualise data and problems in temperate and tropical systems covering the terrestrial and marine environment. I have wide experience of contributing modelling and analysis for funded research (funded by Defra, NERC, BBSRC & Natural Resources Wales) and managing and delivering projects
Teaching and Supervision
I teach statistics and undergraduate and masters level and run a 2nd year undergraduate field trip focusing on resolving environmentall conflict. I also contribute to modules on climate change. I supervise a wide range of undergraduate, masters and PhD topics largely modelling focused
