Research Project Support Officer (Health Economics)
Overview
Kalpa Pisavadia is a Research Project Support Officer at Bangor University's Centre for Health Economics and Medicines Evaluation (CHEME). Kalpa is currently working on the MAP Alliance project, investigating how to provide better care for women's perinatal mental health and preparing rapid reviews for the Health and Care Research Wales Evidence Centre. Kalpa is particularly interested in improving the lives of people of low socio-economic status and health interventions that can contribute towards system change. Additionally, within this role, Kalpa is a member of the Health and Care Economics Cymru management board as the co-lead in communication and knowledge transfer. Kalpa attained a BA with first-class honours in Humanities (The Open University) and a Master of Arts in English Literature (Bangor University).
