Miss Kalpa Pisavadia
Research Project Support Officer (Health Economics)

Overview
Kalpa Pisavadia is a Research Project Support Officer at Bangor University's Centre for Health Economics and Medicines Evaluation (CHEME). Kalpa is currently involved in preparing rapid reviews for the Wales COVID-19 Evidence Centre and the MAP Alliance project, which is investigating how to provide better care for women's perinatal mental health. Kalpa is particularly interested in improving the lives of people of low socio-economic status and health interventions that can contribute towards system change. Additionally within this role, Kalpa is also a member of the Health and Care Economics Cymru management board as a co-lead in communication and knowledge transfer. Kalpa attained a BA with First class honours in Humanities (Open University) and then went on to complete a Master of Arts in English Literature from Bangor University.
