Postgraduate Project Opportunities
Wood modification and characterisation of modified timbers. Many aspects of the chemical and physical changes occurring during wood modification remain of interest to enhance the fundamental understanding of property changes achieved.
Postgraduate Project Opportunities
Characterisation of mechanical and physical properties, wood anatomy and chemical composition of under utilised timber species. Assessment of suitability for new applications in wood based composites and panel products.
