Overview

Undertaking a part time MScRes looking at conservation prioritisation with reference to Key Biodiversity Areas (KBA) in Tanzania. Exploring to what extent Tanzania’s threatened and endemic biodiversity is covered by the current KBA and Protected Area (PA) systems; identifying biases and gaps in the current KBA and broader PA system’s biodiversity coverage and proposing what could be done to ensure Tanzania’s KBA system effectively represents - and thus strengthens protection of the nation’s terrestrial biodiversity.

Currently working as Communications Lead for Oxford Unversity's Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU). Previously worked for Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) East Africa, Madagascar and Western Indian Ocean Program (EAMWIO).
