Overview
I have always been interested in pathology, particularly of the neurological and immunological diseases. Currently, I am investigating the phenomenon of selective neuronal vulnerability in neurodegeneration using the model organism Drosophila melanogaster. The aim of the study is to identify protein regions of hTau and interactors that mediate selective vulnerability of neurons to degeneration.
