Zeina’s research interest lies on stock prices, exchange rates, market efficiency, corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, voluntary disclosure, IPOs, and earning management. Zeina’s focus is on the MENA region and nascent markets as there is limited evidence available from these countries/markets.
Overview
Zeina is a Senior Lecturer at Bangor Business School and a Visiting Professor at Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance in Bahrain. Prior to joining Bangor University, Zeina has worked as a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Management at Muscat University in Oman, a Visiting Senior Lecturer in Finance and Management in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Aston University, a recognized teacher by Cranfield University teaching in the MSc in Finance and Management program and an Assistant Professor in the Banking and Finance Department at Tishreen University in Syria. Zeina obtained her PhD in Finance and MSc in Finance and Economics from the University of Manchester in the UK and her Bachelor degree from Tishreen University in Syria.
